You laugh too hard, or you sneeze, and… a little pee comes out.

You laugh too hard, or you sneeze, and… a little pee comes out.

Yeah. That. The first time, you figure you just didn't realize you had to go. Then it happens again, and the worry creeps in. Almost half of women deal with this. They just don't say it out loud, so it feels like it's only you. It's not.

So what's actually going on? It's perimenopause. Estrogen dips, and the tissue that holds everything shut gets a little thinner. Normal thing at a normal time, about as dramatic as needing reading glasses. It definitely doesn't mean it's time to graduate from cute panties to granny's diapers. But because no one talks about it, most women just quietly swap to period underwear. Unfortunately…

01

Period underwear was built for periods. Not pee.

Period underwear was built for periods. Not pee.

Different problem, different build. Blood is slow and thick, that's what the fabric is made for. Pee is fast and thin, so it slips past. Ours works the other way around. A top layer that grabs it the second it hits and moves it away from your skin. No cold, uncomfortable wet spot. You won't even notice. And no one else will.

02

The pair you reach for first.

The pair you reach for first.

You shouldn't have to choose between the pair that's pretty and the pair that works. Maey is cut to flatter, not to hide. Mid-rise with a lace trim, bamboo everywhere it touches you, not the polyester most underwear is quietly made of. Fair warning, if you've never worn it, it kind of ruins every other fabric. The pair you'd put on for yourself, and wouldn't mind someone else seeing.

03

Most underwear is plastic.

Most underwear is plastic.

About 60% of all clothing is plastic, and underwear is no exception. Polyester isn't “like” plastic, it is plastic. Crude oil, melted and spun into thread, sitting against the most sensitive part of your body all day, every day. Much of it carries PFAS, the “forever chemicals” you keep seeing the studies come out about.

On top of that, plastic doesn't breathe. It traps heat and moisture, which is exactly what odor and bacteria thrive on. Ours is different. Bamboo against your skin. Soft, breathable, PFAS-free.

The worry is the worst part.

The mental check mid-laugh. Then the waiting, counting the minutes to a bathroom, wet and uncomfortable, hoping it won't show.

That's what we fixed. It's handled before you'd even feel it, so the check just… stops. A laugh gets to be a laugh again. No second-guessing.

You're in good, quiet company.

Replaced my pads
“Replaced my pads”

Used pads for years but wanted something more practical and comfortable. Was skeptical, but it delivered as advertised. It's super soft, probably the most comfortable pair of underwear I've ever owned. Needed a different size at first, and the exchange was quick and free. Besides that, perfect.

Best leakproof I've tried so far
“Best leakproof I've tried so far”

Like these better than my Thinx pair. Better absorption and super comfy. It doesn't show under my leggings. Wish I'd found them two years ago.

“Helped my runs”

Bought these to help during my runs. Was skeptical, but I didn't think about my leaks once, even downhill where I have the most trouble. No chafing, very comfortable and breathable. Will be buying more.

How it works

Four layers. One job each.

Bamboo against your skin pulls it away the second it happens, so you feel dry. The layer underneath soaks it up, and anything left goes down to the core, which holds far more than a leak. At the bottom, a leakproof layer makes sure nothing reaches your clothes. Air still moves through the bamboo, so it stays cool and comfortable. And it's all much thinner than you're picturing. No line under your clothes, it just feels like underwear.

Questions, answered straight.

Will they fit?

Go by the size chart, not your usual letter. Two minutes with a tape measure beats a guess. The waistband should sit comfortably, not squeeze. And if the pair you get isn't right, we'll exchange it for the right size, free.

Will they stay fresh all day?

Yes, and this is where the bamboo earns its keep. Odor comes from bacteria in trapped heat and moisture. Bamboo wicks the moisture and lets air through, so bacteria don't get the swamp they need. You stay fresh through a full workday, which is more than a pad ever managed.

How much can they actually hold?

It holds 30 to 40ml. A typical leak is only a couple. You could have a few surprises across the day and stay completely dry.

How many should I get?

Most women land on the 5-pack, one for each workday between laundry loads, so you're never rationing the pair that works. The math helps too: pads run about $290 a year, every year. A 5-pack is $74.95 once. It pays for itself in about three months, and after that the savings are just yours.

How do I wash them?

Like normal underwear, mostly. Machine wash cold, hang to dry, and skip the fabric softener (it coats the absorbent layer and dulls it over time). Two things to avoid: bleach, and a hot dryer, heat is what wears out the leakproof layer. They take a little longer to air-dry than regular underwear, which is one more reason most women keep a set in rotation instead of two pairs they're babysitting.

Do these replace pelvic floor exercises?

No, and we won't pretend they do. If you're working with a pelvic floor PT, keep going, that's the long game. These handle the meantime, so a sneeze in week three of a twelve-week program isn't a wet drive home.

What if they're not right for me?

Then send them back. You've got 30 days, and we mean actually try them: wear them, wash them, put them through your real week. If they don't handle your leaks, full refund. If it's just the size, we'll exchange it for free. We'd rather fix it than have you give up on it.

What women are saying

Really good!

Does everything it's gotta do. I've tried a few others in the past, these felt the best quality.

I can sneeze again

Terrible allergies, and every spring was a nightmare of getting caught off guard. These have been a game changer. I don't tense up waiting for it anymore.

Angela R. Verified buyerJune 21, 2026

Great, use the size chart

Really comfortable and they do the job. Only note is to actually measure yourself against their size chart instead of guessing. I did and mine fit perfectly.

Finally something that isn't bulky

I refused to buy the adult diaper type things. These look and feel like regular underwear. Soft, no crinkle, nothing that screams medical. My husband has no idea I'm wearing anything different.

Pilates without the worry

Used to dread the jumping parts of class. Now I just go. They held up through a full hour and I felt totally secure. Comfortable enough that I forget I have them on.

Wish I'd found these sooner

Spent two years just being careful and dealing with it. These gave me my confidence back. I can laugh hard with my friends and not think about it.

Joan B. Verified buyerMay 25, 2026

Soft and it actually works

Was nervous it wouldn't hold but it did. The bamboo is so soft, softer than my regular underwear honestly. Breathable too, no sweaty feeling.

Carol S. Verified buyerJune 17, 2026

Fresh all day, even in summer

I was honestly worried they'd smell by the end of a long day. They don't. The bamboo really breathes, no swampy feeling, no odor, even through a full shift on my feet. I get home and forget I'm even wearing them.

Brenda K. Verified buyerJune 23, 2026

Good quality, wish for more colors

Love the fit and they work great. Just wish there were a few more color options. The cream is nice though. Will reorder.

No more crossing my legs when I cough

Had a cold last month and coughing used to be a problem. Not anymore. These just handle it. Comfortable all day, didn't think about it once.

Better than Knix for me

Tried Knix first and these are more comfortable and a better price. Less bulky in the middle too. These are my go-to now.

Robin H. Verified buyerMay 12, 2026

Comfortable enough to wear every day

Bought them for backup but they're so comfortable I just wear them all the time now. Fit like normal underwear, no weird bulk.

Trampoline with the grandkids, finally

The grandkids always want me to jump with them and I used to make excuses. Wore these last weekend and just had fun. That's worth everything.

Gail W. Verified buyerMay 7, 2026

Doesn't feel like protection

That was my biggest fear, that it would feel like a pad or a diaper. It doesn't at all. Just soft underwear. I forget it's even doing anything.

Maria C. Verified buyerMay 22, 2026

Works well, takes a bit to dry

No complaints on comfort or how well they work. Only thing is they take a while to air dry, so I bought a few extra pairs to rotate. Worth it.

Confident at work again

I'm on my feet all day and used to worry constantly. These let me stop thinking about it. Soft, secure, and nobody would ever know.

The most comfortable underwear I own now, and they happen to handle the little leaks too. Soft, breathable, no VPL under work pants.

Hiking without planning around it

Long hikes used to mean mapping every bathroom. Wore these on a six miler and didn't think about it. Comfortable the whole way, no chafing.

Skeptical but converted

I read every review before buying because I've been burned before. These are the real deal. Comfortable, they work, and they don't feel medical.

Pam S. Verified buyerMay 28, 2026

Better after the first wash

Right out of the package the waistband felt stiff, and I almost sent them back. One wash later they softened right up and now they're the first pair I grab. Just give them a wash before you judge.

Got rid of the panty liners

I was going through liners every day. These replaced all of that. More comfortable, better for the planet, and I'm not running to the store every week.

Hard to explain, but these made me feel like me, not like I was managing some condition. I just got dressed and went on with my day.
